The Perfect Super Bowl Playlist for Swifties

A playlist to hype you up for 2025’s Super Bowl! Whether you’re wearing “Red” or an “eagles t-shirt”, this Super Bowl playlist takes you through all of Taylor’s football game references.
Super Bowl Sunday is almost here! So of course I had to celebrate the occasion with a Super Bowl Playlist. I walk you through all of the fun references, and include playlist links for Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and YouTube below!
SUPER BOWLS 2024 + 2025
Last year was such a fun Super Bowl! After watching Taylor at Travis’ games throughout the season, there was debate on whether she’d make the 13 hour flight from Tokyo to Las Vegas to make the game. She did! And if you thought the 13 hour flight was a fun reference, there were actually a number of 13’s in play – you can check out more Swiftie math here. The Super Bowl game itself was nail-biting and epic, going into overtime with the Chiefs taking the win.
For the occasion, I shared my very first Tayvis Playlist. But this year I thought I’d really hone in on Taylor’s football references and create a playlist celebrating the sport for 2025’s Super Bowl Sunday.
A WALKTHROUGH MY SUPER BOWL PLAYLIST

I selected each song on this playlist because of the following lyric references. I thought I’d share them with you too, in case you were curious about how each one relates to the Chiefs and/or the game!
Red – The Chiefs’ colors are red and gold! ❤️💛
Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince –“Waving homecoming queens, marching band playing, I’m lost in the lights…Running through rose thorns, I saw the scoreboard and ran for my life” (ah)”
Fifteen – “Well, in your life you’ll do things greater than dating the boy on the football team.” Taylor found a way to do both 🥹
So High School – “You know how to ball, I know Aristotle”
You Belong With Me – The music video shows Taylor as a clarinetist in the marching band, and her love interest as a star football player!
The Archer – Travis’ signature move is shooting an arrow. Taylor used the move a lot herself during “So High School” on the Eras Tour. (As well as during “The Archer” itself when it was on the setlist!).
Stay Stay Stay – “That’s when you came in wearing a football helmet”
gold rush – “I see me padding ‘cross your wooden floors, with my Eagles t-shirt hanging from the door.” Taylor confirmed this lyric was about the Eagles football team when she performed this as a surprise song for Philly N1. (Disclaimer, this was before she started dating Travis!)
Taylor said: “There was sort of a, I don’t know how large the debate was, the debate about I have a lyric that says, um, ‘my Eagles T-shirt hanging from the door. I saw some people wondering if it was the band the Eagles or the team the Eagles. Guys, like, come on, like, I’m from Philly, of course it’s the team.”
Change – I used this song to create a 2024 Super Bowl edit after the game last year. The lyrics just seemed to fit so perfectly 🥹
Blank Space – “Cause you know I love the players and you love the game” (This is also one of Travis’ favorite songs)
Cornelia Street – “As if the street lights pointed in an arrowhead leading us home.” Arrowhead Stadium is the Chiefs’ stadium! 🏟️
End Game – “I wanna be your endgame, I wanna be your first string, I wanna be your A-Team.”
Long Live – “How the kingdom lights shined just for me and you.” Chiefs Kingdom!
Karma – “Karma is the guy on the CHIEFS”
The Alchemy – “Where’s the trophy, he just comes running over to me,
Touch down
Call the amateurs and
Cut ’em from the team
Ditch the clowns, get the crown
Baby I’m the one to beat
Cause the sign on your heart
Said it’s still reserved for me
Honestly, who are we to fight the alchemy?”
I think of the Super Bowl a bit like Travis’ own Eras Tour. So I used a similar opening and closer for this Super Bowl playlist! “Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince” really sets the stage for a homecoming football game. And then I close the playlist with “Karma” and “The Alchemy” to mirror how Taylor ended her own shows – where “Karma” was the encore and “The Alchemy” was the last music we heard as we all left the stadium.
“The Alchemy” was inspired by last year’s Super Bowl. So I’m hoping it’s not just be a “once every few lifetimes” occurrence, and that tomorrow the Chiefs will have made history by becoming the first team in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a row!
SUPER BOWL PLAYLIST LINKS
I hope you enjoyed that walkthrough of this Super Bowl playlist! Whether you’ll be wearing “Red” or an “Eagles t-shirt” (yes, I had to add the “gold rush” lyric as well because before she was a Chiefs supporter, she was an Eagles fan), why not put on this on for your pre-game parties? You can listen on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and YouTube, with clean versions on Spotify and Apple Music.
Enjoy listening, and watching game itself! And let’s go Chiefs!
